You still going to go and show the Americans how to harvest their crops ?

Nope, might end up in Vredendal as Dealer Principal of Toyota Vredendal, depending on Toyota SA's assessment on 13th of January...........

Lekke training ground for the Freedom, and near the finish.........

Okay! It would be interesting to hear the views relating to the Freedom Challenge RASA, the weather conditions one is subjected to and the question is on which to use......??

....I'm talking about disc brake pads? Metal or Resin - that is the question?.... :whistling:

Easy, if it's going to be a wet year use metal, they ain't as good but last longer.

I finished last year on one set of metal pads, but then again I only pull the brakes just before I moer down......

Sterkte vir die 13de.

That's a good move because now you can ride to Sishen and back as a quick warm-up?

Was our riding last night and broke my saddle (Fizik Gobi).

2nd one in a year.

Can't afford this to happen on RASA.

Thinking of replacing it with a Brooks B17.

Will this be a good move, or should I just get another Gobi?

Over the years I've seen a variety of saddles come into Prince Albert broken (various makes including a Brookes and even a Murray Orthoped). Get something that's  a)comfortable  b) strong c) light d) cheap..... ;)

Nope Gobi not good, mess up your aiming, you will wet your feet.....

Got myself a Sella SMP Plus, for the better ride go wide and don't wet your feet....

Guys, any advice on what is the best way to charge all the electronics you are carrying (phone, lights, tracker etc).

do you carry separate chargers for each one or is the some clever gizmo that you can use for everything.
