The main reason they keep the files private is every coach wannabee runs to their calculator forgetting any context and spews out the rubbish that was publish today.

I always start to wonder when 2 teammates are way stronger than specialist climbers.

Is blood doping detectable yet if one uses one's own blood?

3 team members in the top six, the rest of the field minutes back. That's not suspicious, is it?

It appears that English cucumber sandwiches are far superior to Spanish beef.

I remember a few years back team sky's sprinter at that stage was leading the pack up the mountains and 80% of the peloton had gone when he finally fell off with 7 other guys ready to take over.

Is it the same thing all over again?  Only new faces instead of Roberto Heras, Floyd Landis, Tyler Hamilton and co?

I hope not but I find it very hard to believe

Skyborgs 1 - Everyone Else 0.

It's kinda sad though that our sport has been tainted so badly that any "out of the ordinary" performance is seen as suspect...

To be fair - most riders have 1 good day in them and can hold pace up hill until the real fireworks start. They go far into red then pop spectacularly and lose 30 minutes in the last 5km :-)

Yes. The biological passport is used to check for jumps in hematocrit (volume percentage of red blood cells in blood) as well as unnatural levels in the ratio between old red blood cells and new red blood cells.

the biological passport cant even pickup micro doping.

I wonder what role the advancements in technology in terms of bikes, parts and gear (helmets, kit, shoes), aerodynamics etc has to play in riders being 'clean' now, but being faster than in an era when they were all 'dirty'...?

Does anybody just enjoy watching pro cycling anymore...?

It can't be that enjoyable if all one does is wonder how they're doing what they are, instead of just appreciating it.

Hope this isn't another Lance Armstrong story ......

Deny , deny , deny ... until caught , then admit and change tack .

I love watching the Tour , but this performance certainly raises suspicion .

Hopefully Chris is just that much better .

Because in a few years time the technology would have caught up and old samples will test positive and again we will see it all was a lie.  Alternatively someone will squeal when the net closes in like in the LA case.......

How many times do we want to bang our heads against the same wall.

I watch the TDF and I have watched it since the mid 1990's.

Yesterday evening I just got a bad feeling when I saw the Froome / Porte show.....

this gets quite tiring actually. Any good performance is instantly met with skepticism.

Would this not peeve anyone off? I'd rather just enjoy the performance for what it is  - if there's any doping happening, hopefully it will be discovered - hindsight is a perfect science.
