Just one question: why no formal appeal/complaint to CSA? That's what they are there for - let them sort it out if you don't come right with the race Organiser? CSA is supposed to be there for just this kind of dispute, as a neutral party, and arbiter with experience and knowledge of the rules. Do that and if then you still don't come right, and only then, make it a public issue. Threatening people with bad publicity is no solution. I'm not sure the OP thought that through, given his father's attitude as stated above.

So maybe take a step back, Heinz, and contact the Race Commissaire to lodge your complaint. If that's dealt with properly, then there should be a positive outcome all round...

If not, then we can add CSA to the pile and BURN ALL OF THEM ;-)

That's what I would have thought the right way to go would be.

If the allegations are borne out, then CSA should sanction their commissaire for being complicit and refuse to officiate at any further events of the organiser.

"I reported the rider to a csa commissaire wich was the commissaire for the entire race. And then the timing company (Spectrum Sport) with Louis Harmse senior and Louis Harms Junior"

I understood him to say that he reported the rider to

the 'csa commissaire"

Very interesting read. There are people defending the organisers because they know them, and I suppose we all will defend our friends. I do not agree with the people that wants him to take this on the chin, how is that constructive. Since when is that an appropriate action when you where screwed, (as the op believed he was) Well done on the op for voicing your complaint, I believe it was done in a mature manner. If the organisers come thru on delivering your prise, well done to that, although I believe a more sincere apology would go a long way. On a last note, we all know the hub is no place for reason and logic, we all come here and bitch from time to time.

Don't see why he should have bothered? The hub sorted this out in no time, provided loads of entertainment to us & extra free life lessons to him at the same time  :whistling:

Yes, and the time was docked. Was the CSA commissaire aware of or complicit in the alleged juggling of the other results?

He does not have the money to pay for a formal complaint, and all his "facts" are wrong otherwise he sould have made a formal complaint at the race on Sunday....

reporting to the CSA commissaire.

As far as i understand CSA are there to handle disputes on the day - they make a decision on the day. for cheating or outside assistance etc - they make a decision before results are posted. Then after those are all dealt with they get the timing co to post the results. With regards to age group categories - the procedure is to post the results for a specified period and handle any disputes during that period. They will only be concerned with who came first second and third in each category, not who does or doesn't get prizes.

I also think that after that time no more disputes can be raised (but a csa official or race organiser will need to confirm this)

Gogo the OP complained to the CSA Race Comm, Who immediately spoke to Louis Jnr about it, Louis confirmed that he accepted a bomb from outside and accepted the sanction without having to make it a formal appeal as it would have cost the OP R250.00 to do so.
