Stretch Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 That or Allerway, or Loralex. There is a few similar.im giving this a go because texa is not doing the ob sufficiently
Jackes Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 (edited) im giving this a go because texa is not doing the ob sufficiently Currently on them. I change them up every now and then. Then I also try to go without them if not need be and rather just go with saline spray. There is other brands as well, but these are the cheapies. I also keep OTC (cheap) Fenergan for when I need to dry up my nose quickly. 25mg makes me sleepy so I use that before bed or if I need to take one during the day, I use the 10mg. All of these I only use when neccesary. Edited January 23, 2017 by Jackes

Jackes Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 To the guys wearing Asics... Are you guys really still as happy with them and have you tried anything else recently? I hear a lot of stories that they chopped and changed between models the last while and when you go from a Nimbus 17 to 18, for example, there are quite some differences, so much that the guys don't like the new models? I almost get the feeling that the Asics = No1 is more a South African craze thing? We have tried the Nimbus and Cumulus in the past and I was'nt impressed, the milleage was not that great either. And all of this at R2,800 for the newest pair of Nimbus..... What am I missing or is it just me.
ScottCM Posted January 24, 2017 Author Posted January 24, 2017 I have ashma, ha ha ha. My first Comrades i had Malaria 3 Weeks before the start, felt like dying halfway. But finished in 09:30, then 08:40, 07:40, 08:30 and my last one i entered and only decided a couple of days before that i will be running the comrades. Stupid mistake, i then finished in 09:21.( thinking i was very brave, but i actually couldn't walk for a week. was totally broken.) Ah Ha, now it all makes sense .......... Lexx 1
Stretch Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 To the guys wearing Asics... I am back on my GT2000's Ok...I pronate slightly..but have run in asics cumulus (neutrals) no problem last year (in a previous attempt to go neutral)...so tried the brookes neutral (as you know) and about 300k in developed PF which has been plaguing me since xmas..and now back on a new pair of GT2000's because I know them..and I have done the last 2 comrades in them and been running in them for 4 years now. I easily get 1000km in them and just bought 2016 model from Poobies for R1300 (new pair is R1700) What I don't like - the inflexible sole...otherwise I have always been happy with them
