I need help.

So I've done the argus 6times - last time in 09 - usually on a MTB and usually 5hours+ time.

I entered this year and didnt get in, so am now riding for a charity!

Question - when do we get our start times? Or do charities have separate starts? (I cant remember how it all works)

Also, is this years 99er a seeding race?

Thanks for any enlightenment!

Go to racetec.co.za and search for your results, you'll see you have your start time listed there for this year's CTCT.

EDIT: the 99er is a seeding race for 2017 CTCT

They will be caught, no question.  The organisers make the same mistake over and over..

So where should the women pro's start?

Not looking for a rumble. This is one of the Cycle Tour's biggest headaches, fresh ideas welcome.

Men Elites

VA

VB

VC

Elite ladies

Etc

Racing tandems to fit in somewhere in between (not sure where)

Never seems to be an issue at 94.7

They seem to have done that this year.

Let's see how it works.

VA SubVet 30 – 39 06:23:00

Since there is no VA, VB etc for the Argus, I would imagine the equivalent here would be 1B or maybe 1C?

So let the ladies start after 1B or 1C, like others said, 1A will catch them guaranteed

Crap.  6E, starting just before 9.  I will have to remember my happy face. Last year I was in 6D with a much poorer finishing time in the seeding race.

My son starts in 3D, and he did not even finish the only official seeding event because of a technical, although he did some MTBing events where he finished in the top 25. So they must be using those also, although they are not officially telling us so.
