[quote name="Long Wheel Base" post="2829545" timestamp="1456769260 So 5 min at the most for Chappies and suikerbossie. If you hit Edinburgh drive in 30 min I'm not sure you can pull it back.

Thanks, it makes sense.

That was very quick from the top of Chappies. Suikerbossie must have been balls to the walls...

To earn Sub 3 you must have a lot in reserve from Noordhoek because its a race up Chappies, down in Hout Bay and up Suikerbossie. If you blow on Suikerbossie you will loose more than 5min to the finish.

So those how are aiming for sub 3, how does your training looks like for the rest of the week?

I had good hard training sessions this past weekend.

Rest yesterday

This morning I had a lekker easy spin session on my roller in front of the TV.

Not sure what to do tomorrow morning, and on Thursday we leaving

Hope that helps.

Looks like

Top of Edinburgh: 24min - A little nose bleed, but looking worse than it is!

Top of Smits: 1:28 - Now bleeding from both nostrils and one ear as well!

Top of Chappies: 2:14 -  Blood from every orifice - lots of it - worse than it looks!

Top of Suikerbossie: 2:30 - All of the above and coughing up a dead lung too!_

Just a little translation......

I have an entry. Late call and I cant make it.

Interested please send me a msg.

Hard luck man. Substitutions have closed already. Unfortunately you going to sit with that entry. Best option is to ask a friend to pick up your race pack son you At least get something for your entry fee.

anyone from 1G looking to bust a vein trying to get a sub-3? A friend of mine is looking for like-minded sadists for the attempt.

For the old hands: is a sub-3 from 1G doable?
