mostly water, poweraid and coke. The Simons Town one will have some crackers, pretzels etc and the one on top of Smitswinkel used to be the bar one stop. Think its now the Snickers stop.

Had that a couple of years ago. managed to get some sleep sometime after 2 am, just to get up at 4.30 for the race.  I was so full of aggro, I actually had  great day on the bike. Tonight I have to stay up to go play Uber for my youngest who is at a gr10 dance........he's going to have a shorter than usual party......

Lol set my alarm for 04:00, but been up watching GCN videos since around 03:15, thanks goodness I took a nap with my daughter yesterday afternoon. 2 hours extra sleep in the bag.

Don't know, maybe a crafty fellow cyclist could assist you if minor, noted my crank is creaking a little which I despise so apologies in advance, luckily only creaks when climbing out the saddle.

Also seems the wind has picked up a little.

Don't worry about the wind fellas it is what it. So far this is the best weather I've seen for theCycle Tour.

Jeez, thanks for the 2 wake up txts a @ 4am CTCT. Wasn't exactly needed after a night with a 1 yr old running a pretty hectic temperature.

Saw a skewer roll across the road just before the descent into Fish Hoek.

13.257 secs later a black stealth Vias with rider attached was sliding across my line

 

Bang!

Narrowly avoided his head and torso and got my front wheel entangled in the frame or something

 

Using my Sagan-esque skills, managed to avoid the road barriers, but lost several spokes in my Ultimates (and that wheel is built tough).????

 

Next train is a REAL train! ????????????

Metro rail back to town.

 

Happy to not have a fractured rib and concussion. ????
