It's a faux whip.

What is the difference between a tail-whip and a kick out? Or is it the same thing?

That was puncture number 2.. aye .. knocked that back wheel on that rock and poof there goes the tyre..I wonder if his butt was covered in sealant?

 

 

By then he had worked his way back to 11th after the first puncture which was a front wheel puncture .. he'll be skopping his sealant covered butt for that 2e puncture as that his own error hey didn't lift the back wheel aye shame man.. probably also moeg from the chase after Puncture 1 , mistakes happen..he is human after all.
