"Friends, please note as from today I am no longer responsible for Rietvlei Cycle Park.My wife Maya, myself, or any staff at the Cycle Hub have no say over any and all activities that will be allowed on the trails.I sincerely thank you all for your support over the past years and even though we are not operating the trails our shop " The Cycle Hub" will still be at Rietvlei Zoo Farm."

I hope not, Mr Bole has been very kind in the past. Rietvlei has always seemed to to what they want. My professional curiosity always makes me wonder how many of the structures on that site was erected lawfully (I'm looking at that school specifically). Like Zariuss said, this could be a boon for Thaba Trails itself. Is a rietvlei boycott coming? I'll gladly forego rietvlei for the time being and visit Thaba, especially if cycle hub isn't benefiting from the trails. edit: Won't be the first time I've ditched rietvlei for thaba after being told stupid stuff like i need to pay for parking whenever they want to charge it. They being rietvlei. cycle hub and their staff have always been helpful.

The only transgressions were apparently one of the sub-lessees didn't have the correct certification to serve food, and there were some questions about the environmental impact of one of the schools fields (there are two schools on the property).
