It really sux that these people didnt even car for your stuff or even owned up and apologised when you lended a helping hand.

It shows you were the better person by assisting and although this time round it was a bunch of idiots, next time will be good people you help or helping you.

So keep doing as in turn, good will come to you.

This is the Hub.

Tomorrow, we'll get the post: "... so this Dude picks us after the race, and his @#*&*$% bakkie scratches our bikes so badly ..."

I can't believe it. Or maybe I can, judging by the type of fellow SAffers I see on a daily basis just feeling a flying f-word for the rest...

This dude takes the time to come and write on the Hub about a bad experience seeking some brotherly (or sisterly) "we feel your pain"-love, yet half if not more of the responses take the side of the bad guys! It feels like Friday is coming earlier and earlier each week.

Or maybe... does any of the responders who took sides with the scratchy bunch's avatar pics look familiar? Mmmmmm.... :whistling:

Seriously OP, I feel your pain, but Karma has a way to turn the wheel (both ways). So stay with the good vibes and keep helping.

That is exactly why I didn't even reply.

I washed my car the previous day, no scratches.

Parked next to a tree. No cars next to me.

They even damaged my rubberised back section

It's a bakkie you say? I also drive a bakkie. Have done for years. People treat bakkies like wheel barrows I have noticed. Makes me batty.

Anyway you did a good thing. That's all you need to care about really. Keep that up. It will come back and the world needs it.

Makes me think about quite a few years ago when I was at an Exec meeting at our company and they were considering changes to the car policy to allow 'double cab' bakkies, the CFO 'You're professional business people here not farmers, why would you want to drive a bakkie?'

But a bakkie is a wheel barrow? I'm confused as to why you are confused?

You're thinking of a Nissan 1400. If you put handles on the back you could actually lift up the rear wheels and push it around.

My worst is when people treat your Bakkie like a trash bin. Come back from hopping and the 'bak' is full of iemand se *** from their car footwell!

Used to happen to my 1400 all the time... IMO still better than just moering the rubbish out of the window though. Baby steps.
