This turned out to be a lekker long read, I take everybody’s advice with regards to finance, I can pay it off monthly however the bike stays as shop but then have to wait 6 months, finance option from what I see using the calculator doesnt cost much more but then again I didnt read the small print. I guess I rather pay the shop off interest free and wait a little.

I enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning and the closest place is McCafé and they are firstly inconsistent staff changes daily and don’t make great cappuccino, what is a good machine I could get ? I don’t mind something that grinds fresh but prefer automatic and nothing too big. Please let me know. Thank you

This has happened to me on 3 occasions I rather purchase from a store because sellers advertise a price and then give you first option but then all of a sudden get a message saying sold ???? Also it seems there are same guys advertising under few names yet use same number I caught one out few weeks ago. Can share info if anybody wants to know.

Thanks for the valuable info and advice guys as always....So you say I should try and preserve the head badge...that's the only piece worth something... I don't intend spending much on it, just a sand down, respray and I see the gears have been replaced with cheap stuff so will make it a single speed rather and preserve the Zini and Cosmos as racers.

Hi guys, recently posted pics of the Zini I acquired, the bug has bitten and I got these 2 more bikes. Info/Help and comments welcome. Cosmos I don't intend to do anything, just clean up, service and use it as is. Might just get a set of tyres. Raleigh is where I need some help, has very old style wheels, seems the rear changer has been replaced with a knock off, its a 6 speed. I would like to have the frame sanded down and repainted, new decals etc and keep it a road race bike and not convert to SS/Fixed. How do I get spares for the gears etc? Any ideas or suggestions and info on both bikes. I don't see much of Cosmos and this Raleigh. It has been made in SA and has Afrikaans as well on the decal. Thanks Z
