Stretch Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 I load onto GC and it is synced to Strava and loads automatically.Yip same here...garmin explorer does it all for me...don't think I have ever looked at my garmin connect profile. Why I like strava is that it is product neutral. I have a garmin for running and a bryton for cycling...and they both sit on strava happily together

intern Posted November 25, 2015 Author Posted November 25, 2015 I load onto GC and it is synced to Strava and loads automatically.Here's a pro tip which I found out via Strava support - if you ride rollers or IDT, switch off your Garmin's GPS otherwise Strava gets confused and uses the GPS info, not that from the sensors. You can imagine how miff I was that a 1hr roller session at 50km/h showed up as 14 minutes at 2.7km/h...

I've seen a few of you mention which Bluetooth HR monitors you use but I was wondering which one I should get that'll work with Strava and my iPhone6... I wanna get a Garmin 520 at some point so should I go for a Garmin HR monitor for now and then have a spare one or should I look at a once off purchase of a Wahoo monitor?

I wish I could put that flag in my trophy case Skuba, how do you know it has been flagged? By mate did a KOM the other day, and it has subsequently disappeared off the lists. And I know it is legit.

And I know it is legit.There is a little red flag next to the name of your ride. And when you click on the ride there is a large red banner on top saying you have been flagged. I didnt get any notifications, only saw it when my name disappeared from the leaderboard
