Racking up airmiles like a boss!!!

Had my first Jetstar experience...

45min delay because ("one of the cabin crew was feeling unwell")

Luckily it was just 1 of the 4 flights. The others were all Air NZ.

Most creative safety videos I've ever seen.

Yeah fortunately I fly Air NZ most of the time.

But that I guess is the 1 ugly about NZ... flight reliability/weather conditions.

Last weekend a friend came down from Auckland to visit, and their Friday night flight (Air NZ) was delayed by 20min... then 40... then completely cancelled due to the weather.

My boss said that with Jetstar 80% of the time there is a delay of sorts

Jetstar suck. I've only been on them once, to Queenstown, and while that flight wasn't bad on their account, I way prefer Air NZ. And Air NZ's Koru lounges are flippen awesome, all the chow you can get, coffee, beers, the works, internet, plug points, showers, comfy couches. Rad.

Intern, question - do you have to experience with property auctions?

I don't; in fact, when buying a place, which I have done three times here, I don't even consider anything that is up for auction. I only look at the places which have an actual price attached to them, then negotiate from there. In my mind, no fixed price is dangerous as is an auction, because it is very easy to get caught up in emotion and pay more than what it is worth.

That's just me, though. I think DawieO bought his place at auction - poor bugger is busy moving in right now. Moving suck massively! More than jetstar, even.

I found the best approach was, regardless of where the bidding starts from, bid your max (which annoys the masses but saves on valuable time because invariably the bid get passed in the long run anyways)). +The look on the faces is priceless. Found auctions to be a big time pain in the ar$e  in general.

Thank you. My question was more in terms of the sale price achieved. I understand testosterone etc plays a part but when looking at an open home the agent advises an expected price of X. How often is X achieved and how often is the pricing lower than X. been looking at sale prices on homes.co.nz and they look reasonable but then when asking agents in the same area the price is considerably higher.

Sure, not sure on my whereabouts that weekend, but if I'm in town I can show you the sights and sounds of Chch.

That is what I suspected/expected, though I've not bothered going to one.

Come on boys,,,,not even a congrats???

What, you seem to expect the expats to suddenly feel regret?

Just because a certain party didn't win majority, doesn't mean their attitudes and views will change.
