You judge the ability of a car driver based on the car he drives or what is strapped to his car.

A very narrow minded viewpoint and rather the person at the controls needs to be critised seeing as though a car or bike has no control without a human at the reigns.

Some guy in his dark coloured Amarok travelling on N1 South yesterday. He has a Pyga and a Silverback on his bike rack. About Menlynn it rains and he is driving innthe righthand lane. Im on a motorcycle in the second lane from the right with an broken down vehicle in the fast lane. The amarok swerves into me without any warning. Luckily i manage to avoid the Amarok. Very scary.

Seeing you own an Amorok and the Pyga you know who you are. You drive like an appy chop.

that's so biased. I cam also just go and say you're wrong, the bikes have nothing to do with it, its because he drives an ugly amarok

Its only once I started doing road cycling with mtb that I realised how vulnerable road cyclist are...and now keep special attention and space.

You can see in the hood who drives like dicks - young people who do not have kids so just don't get it, and people who don't cycle.

I think the op is onto something.

I have observed many times enroute to a mtb event that people with their mtbs strapped to their vehicles in various ways, drive like complete idiots.

Ranging from hogging the right hand lane, tail gating, overtaking into the face of oncoming traffic. It begs the questions ;

Do they hog the singletrack while walking?

Do they sweat into every cup of water and coke at the refreshment stops?

Do they leave a hot pile of steaming **** on top of the porta potty loo seat instead of inside the loo

They probably piss on the floor of the urinal as well.

Do they snore so loudly they keep the entire camp awake..

Hmmmmmm

So many questions

So long till Friday

Look, that's really bad, but there was that incident with the roadie who left one of those in the start chute*... :nuke:

*Yes, I do realise that that is an unfortunate choice of word.

Wait, so on the Hub at the moment we have someone complaining that MTB drive badly on the roads and another thread saying that roadies drive too slowly behind other roadies.

What is happening to this world?
