Chavo Posted January 11, 2017 Share For fans of the AM hardtail, if you could have only one bike for SA trails would you consider the AM hardtail? I'm considering the Kona Honzo as an option to be that one bike but I'm also wondering if a short to mid-travel full susser is a better option. Realise it will probably be each to their own but I'm interested in opinions nonetheless.
PhilipV Posted January 11, 2017 Share If I was only allowed one bike it would be a 130mm fullsus.
BaGearA Posted January 11, 2017 Share Only have one bike now , Am hardtail And it will probably stay that way for atleast another 3 years. If you don't plan on riding very long (i.e. 3+ hours in the saddle ) Maybe get some 2.5 tyres to help with small bump sensitivity. Hardtails will always be awesome in their own kind of way and I will always be a fan.

Neill Du Toit Posted January 11, 2017 Share Not sure if this really qualifies as an All Mountain hardtail. Only 120mm travel but this is the Specialized Fuse Comp I bought last week.

T-Bob Posted January 12, 2017 Share That moment when you're getting ready to start the new AM HT build and get your fork out of the box to give it a proper look over only to find out CRC have sent you a 160mm instead of a 140mm and it's a model up in terms of internals! #agoodday.
