Entry price remains the same, including an early bird discount. R15K and R12K for early bird. Guess who got their leave form approved ? Its on folks....... EDIT: entries to open mid - end Dec 2015, we will be told on the news letter.

I was kinda ok with it, but when Mrs Slowbee said it would be ok and should would give full support, stuff got real. Will be doing a mix of steady riding short interval type training till s2c with the wife to get her ready for s2c. On return from s2c then it will all be about time in the saddle. Hopefully 26er components will not be to expensive. September we are away for 3 weeks. Not an ideal time to go away - but it is what it is. Oct and Nov will all be about long rides and core training.

Actually, I got a note from Martin D telling me how sore John's body is and having cycled with JN, and recognising the difference in our ages, bodies and cycling abilities, I know that this race has come to late for me. I think it is not the distance, or the time pressure, but rather the unremitting pounding that a body takes on an off-road race of this nature, particularly in the absence of any rest.
