90.3 this morning, up 1.4 from last week but think it's water retention from the weekends cycling and extra carbs on Friday, Saturday for Sundays race.

I have lost 15.4kg since July last year and 6.5kg since Jan 1st this year!!!

 I have got a whole cupboard of clothes again that fits now!!! (some of which I bought intentionally smaller over 3 years ago  )

Was not the plan to keep the challenge going for the whole year just devided into quarters?

That is correct.

We will run this as long as it takes.

I'm stuck on 69.9 :(

Don't stress dude. When you up your exercise your muscles break down and then retain water to repair themselves. As you ride more and more this happens less and less. Just keep being consistent - that is the only trick.

From personal experience - are you drinking enough water - I try to stick to at lease 20 - 30ml / kg / day formula....

If I dont drink water my body just refuses to throw of weight... Just a thought...

(Maybe you building muscle as well?)

Actually I was wondering if I don't drink too much water. I drink about 3Litres plus a day and on training days way more. What I did found is that when I snack a lot- even healthy snacks like nuts and droewors, I pick up weight. If I eat the same amount of calories in 3 big meals instead of constantly during the day, I loose weight.

Last week was difficult to stick to only 3 big meals due to the huge training load, especially over the weekend. I did eat a lot of nuts and droewors on Sunday, but I was within my allowed daily allowance of Cal according to MyFitnessPal. I was constantly hungry this weekend.

The irony is, that there was weeks where I cheated and then still lost so,e weight and then there are good weeks like last week and then I gain.

I'm not too stressed out since I haven't got that much still too lose- my body fat is 17% which is healthy, but I was hoping to be under 90kg for the CTCT. I always knew that these last kilo's will be tough to loose.

I doubt if I add muscle since I hardly do any weight training at the moment.

After Emperors I will put the bike away for 3 months and do some strength training (mostly for toning) and jogging.

This is a life style I've adopted now for almost a year and I cant see myself going back.

Strange thing - but that has happened to me too

In the end you know you are doing the right thing - your body will follow

My weight loss has been stable now - only after over 3 years of struggling... "old habits die hard" seems to be true in a biological sense as well...
