My cadence block is finished...my legs are feeling much better this morning...I do believe I have overdone it a bit...so I am gona take a break for at least a week...going to check out a cross fit place just up the road today......time to get rid of the gut and strengthen the core...hopefully by the time I go back to cadence to prepare for the Amashova...my core will be a little stronger and I will be able pedal with my hands on the drops.

Blew it out of proportion this weekend...damn I love my wife's cooking [emoji57] but in general I have been cutting back...even though the scale seems to be broken or stuck...I can physically see the dents in the gut (could be from my knees hitting it [emoji12]) and can feel it getting softer.

Someone told me it would take at least 3 years to condition my leg muscles...I am almost half way (started January 2015).

Jeez, didn't even know people are still posting here.

I've been doing weight training and as a result, my weight has gone up, BFP has gone down quite a bit

I have had a seesaw ride with my weight this year. A bit frustrating but only me to blame!

Started the year at 82, goal weight was 79. I dropped to 80.6 then crept up to 83 now back at 82 where I started! I suppose I still have the rest of the year to go!

This really doesnt sound like a serious challenge to us, but I guess it can be very difficult when there isn't much else to lose.

I started this year at 89, now at 95 so have to aim for 10kg loss in 5 months...

Very serious, bro. Stress is a horrible thing and is wreaking havoc with mine...

I know, it really does mess things up big time.

I am back in the office after 2 weeks, and already having a *** morning. Looking out the window and the weather is looking good so means a evening ride or run is on the cards, that will help clear the mind.

Looks like I missed out on this one. :)

I started Jan 2016 jogging and cycling. Just to loose weight. I lost a total of at least 8kg's already this year.

I am 1.82m and when I started was 92kg's. Now nearly 2 months later I weigh 83kg's (ok depending on time of day lol)

I would say cycling burns the most calories and is also the "easiest" for me. Jogging is really painful still but I am getting better at it.

Good luck to all!

Now May 2016 I am now down to 77kg's. Jogging a bit less painful but still need icepacks on the knees. lol  Cycling going well. uphill still very demanding so don't think i'm a strong

cycler :)

Keep it up guys!

that's some great results there in a short space of time. Well done.

How we all doing? I've dropped the ball and weigh in at a sad 90.5kg. What is it with cold and eating? Please excuse me while i dip an Ouma in this coffee with a sugar.

I'm doing good, but going to step out of the challenge.

I started on a cutting cycle with some intermittent fasting help and I've dropped to 67kg.

Taking my height into consideration, I'm at about 22% BF. Trying to get to 14ish. Long road ahead.

If anyone is really struggling with nutrition. I can HIGHLY recommend The Renegade diet and a body weight routine. PM if you want more info and I'll try help as best I can

hehe, like any diet and new year resolution this thread started with a bang and faded quickly.

I'm still hanging in there and hoping to go below 90kg's soon. Goal is to be on 85 for the first race- R4V in September.

When I finished Varsity last year November and moved back home I weighed 94.

I am now on about 86/87.

Got about 12 more kg to go.

So mom's food is not that great hey (lol)

I am struggling being home with mom's food... doesn't help at all when you walk in to the smell of curry and then chocolate cake.

From tomorrow things are gona change...starting with a 5 km walk in the morning...which I hope to do every morning...as soon as I feel ready the plan is to start running 1-2-3 then 4 km increasing a little at a time.

I am sitting at 110 kg today...better than 130 as I was...my goal is to go below 100 kg...or to fit into size 36 for now...my ideal weight is 85 kg.

I seem to be at a point where I can't seem to get any faster unless I loose the weight and fuel correctly.

I have an idea which might help us fatties...team work...just an idea.

Set up teams of 4 then challenge each other to loose weight.

Help motivate each other...and keep each other on track...anyone keen?
