It seems I cant load any pics now.

Ja, me too on pictures.

As I ride a lefty I'm used to this sort of alignment problem being brought to my attention by the funny guys on the trails.

Don't rule out a slightly twisted fork if you've had some nasty crashes. If this is the case the wheel will run at a slight diagonal angle, making it look like it's off to one side as you look down 'from the stem'. Happened to a mate of mine and it was a bit of a costly business.

I was thinking the same, I did have a crash last year.

Did you use the same tyre on all 3 rims?

The reason I ask is because a while back I had a similar problem and took my bike to my lbs to have it checked out. They then pointed out to me that the rim was fine, it turned out that the tyre was actually the problem. There was a bubble in the tyre which gave the illusion of the rim not being centered.

All of them different tyres,

This is exactly what it looks like, how did he fix it.

Can you please supply some pics. This will give us all a better idea of what you are referring to ,as well as seeing what you mean about the mud guard rubbing.

In the pic you can see the tyre sits more to the right.

Rim or Tyre?

Try this: Put a cable tie around the fork lower, and use the end as a gauge against the rim, spin the wheel slowly (you can flip the bike onto its back for a short time), check if the rim moves away or towards the tip of the cable tie. That will tell you if the rim is straight or not. Could be a wobbly tyre.

Also measure each fork lower to crown. Could be that one of the legs is not extending fully.

Good Luck.

Take your wheel out, turn it around and put it back in with the disc on the opposite side to the caliper (Dont pull the brakes.)

If the tire is still off to the same side then something is wrong with the fork.

If the tire is off to the opposite side by the same amount then something is wrong with the wheel.

Any chance they are an American Classic wheelset?

Seen this a few times on the front wheel, and they have all been towards that side of the fork.

Be keen to hear.

Will try all the above mentioned things.

With my previous rim my shop just played around with the tension on the spokes, but it wasn't 100%. Its not affecting my riding at the moment... until I hit some serous mud, but every time I look at the wheel it drives me nuts.

Really do appreciate all the help.
