Frame replacement, how long can it take?

In a very weird twist of fate the frame of my MTB cracked this weekend - exactly 1 year after I got it, exactly on the same ride I first rode it a year ago. It has done 9300km on the dot in about 552 hours. 6 out of 7 days in a week it got ridden.

Boring ride stats aside, I took it to the shop I bought it from and the guy said he'll contact the supplier first thing on Monday to come and fetch the frame. My question is what is a reasonable time to expect a replacement and rebuild to be done?

The coming two weekends I won't need it since I am doing road events, however I would like to start riding MTB soon as I can again.

Dragons Sports (the Giant agent) is normally pretty good. If they have a frame in stock, then sometimes they replace it within days, usually within a week or 2. Make sure your bike shop handles it right and that they don't cause delays. If they don't have the exact frame in stock in your size, they might offer you an upgrade at a small cost, think about it. If they have to bring it in from overseas, it can take a few months. In that case, negotiate for a loan bike.

Update : Super impressed with the LBS, had all the documentation sorted early today. Kept me in the loop with that was going on, last mail I got 30 minutes ago confirms I will have a new frame delivered tomorrow or Wednesday.

What did you break? The Reign?

My Fury. It's not cracked or broken but the linkage makes a godawefull KLANK when the rear bottoms. I have dialed it out for the most part and deadened the sound with fluffy velcro.but I shouldn't have to.Should be getting the replacement within the next 2 weeks.
