Loose cog Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Missus and I did the ride in 2010. It was a great day's outing and lots of champers was drunk with a good spread of picnic chowder! Miss my sit up and beg (and flat roads). The only ride I was not able to bring myself to do was the naked ride. I can fell a tree and hunt ext. but if I don some kit like that I'll look much the same.If not for my "boeppens" and very disappointing beard and a bit more sun weathered. I think it'll be a blast. Like minded people riding their bikes, eating some good food and drinking ad libitum.And some cool old bikes. I'll leave the hunting and tree felling and join them at the drop of a hat. (and go back hunting and felling trees afterwards)

The trailbuilders were somewhat loath to loan me their chainsaw... *It's the Benoni Country Club, but sounds poncier that way.

It think this is brilliant. Even if they are all hipsters, they are on bikes,,,,A-ok in my books (even if they are not leather bound J)
