I loved it! Lekker route, lekker challenge lekker trails on Wolwefontein and a lekker vibe afterwards. My only negative, is that the Brew venue is a bit small for all the people. The sports field was less cramped, but maybe next year they can use one of the fields around the brewery for a huge tent or something.

Will definitely be there again next year.

I had a wonderful time. The route was ell marked and clear. The Marshalls were awesome with their directions. There was no confusion insofar as direction is concerned. Wonderful race village...Awesome entertainment after the race. Thumbs-up to the organisers.

I did the 68km. I thought my race was over 24km in when my chain broke on the single track. (The  day I decided to leave my chain breaker and link at home. After all, I have a new chain on). Then a good Samaritan came along. If you are on the hub...Thank you Mark. You are a star. I was hoping to buy you a beer or two after the race but did not see you again.

Great day out nevertheless. Will be back next year.

Tackled the 68km on my bikes maiden voyage but had issues with tyres leaking air and sealant so cut my ride short and did the 45km,after too many stops and eventually putting in a tube.

Will definitely be back next year!

My first DBX experience - dropped back and started the 68km with a mate in E-Batch. Bit frustrating with some congestion on the single track ascents in the first half but to be expected being so far back in the field. The feeding stations were exceptional and marshalls very helpful, encouraging people to eat and drink and much as they wanted. Those last three hills were tough! Awesome vibe at the race village, definitely back next year!

Great event. Well organised and fun fast route.

Did the 45km and missed my batch but hardly got caught in any congestion and no mechanicals

Lots of friendly people on the course and the beer flowed freely. Agree with the suggestion for a larger post race tent.

Will def be back for more.

I did the 45km from C batch and didn't have any issue with congestion. There were a couple of annoyances with slower people ahead not pulling over on the uphill single track, but I just used that as my excuse to take a breather.

My biggest gripe was with the upstairs area at the tasting room. The staff there were clearly not equipped to take on such a large volume of people. Other than that, it was a very nice day out. If I wasn't driving, I would definitely have stayed there longer afterwards.
