@Rudi Pollard.

I've been riding with the XX1 Eagle combined with an Absolute Black 34T Oval chainring for the last 3 weeks and so far no problems whatsoever!

PS - My LBS did battle at first to get the chain line right and had to put a small spacer at the back of the cassette.

I just had my bike upgraded with the Eagle XX and I'm loving it! Managed to save some bucks by keeping my Shimano XT crank, and using an Absolute Black 34 Oval chainring, which is perfectly compatable with the XX. There is no going back!!attachicon.gifIMG-20160909-WA0006.jpg

Nice! What made you choose the XX1 over X01?

must be the chunky gold chain ek se

Makes me think of Welkom residents many years ago [emoji23]

Edit: please don't take offense, I am just thinking back many years to the guys with their golden chains around their necks.
