JJDT Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Not so sure about bottlenecks at this venue that you come to a complete standstill. There will be slower riders somewhere on the track but you need to be patient...catch a breather behind them and when the track opens you can gun it again. You only might encounter a slight bottleneck at the dropoff as the guys managing that piece normally waits if few seconds to make sure riders clear.

wiledog_x Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 the 30km is mostly run across from the Barn on the railway side, but includes a shortish section on the Barn side too - mostly lovely fast single track with some mildly technical sections.. Expect some slower/less experienced riders in front.

Where do the stickers go on the SAS number board? I assume the batch letter goes in the bottom right hand corner but where does the 'USN 30km' sticker go? On the back of the board?

It's not technically a drop-off, it's a sharp descent, about 15m in length from top to bottom if that much.Confidence and momentum, get your ass over the back wheel, and ready to hit the brakes at the bottom is all you need.
