I would agree it's not up to the riders, sponsor says bend, they pulling down pants literally for what ever gets pumped into them ;). Disc brakes are problem 99, motor bikes, barbed wire, handle bars,,,loooong list of freak accidents(Drs please no pics)

I am a girl with *** like this but it proves my point I have brought this up many times,

,,Drs all are sick MOFOs who enjoy torturing patients, they get sick pleasure in it.

I couldn't count how many "drain cables" were INSERTED ,,,,,,50cc pulls into the conversation and says THE PSYCHOPATHS PULL THEM OUT ONE AT A TIME,,,,,vaaark like the oke hasn't gone through enough trauma now he gets to feel what it feels like for worms to move through his leg,,,repeatedly

I'm surprised we have got this far without any mention of an anal exam by all the hub Drs

Those little monsters torturing small animals behind the tuck shops at a young age are mostly Drs "practicing medicine"

philistines the lot of them

Well - Dura Ace worked (just) well enough - and given I was in front of you..... but I DID wish for disks....

Next road bike is DEFINATELY going to have disks.

I am a convert, there is no doubt IMHO that disc brakes are superior to rim brakes for the type of riding I do. I have enjoyed my riding much more knowing how I'm going to stop rather than hoping I'm going to. And no more fiddling with callipers every time  I take a wheel off.

I am glad I took the plunge. Now just to wait for ETap with hydraulics.

We have road disks because bike companies want to make $$$ selling "the next big thing". Not because pros need / dont need them. If pros ride it, wannabees will buy it and lots and lots of frames, wheels and gruppos will have to be replaced - big money. Big business needs pros to ride disks to sell them. (And the 6.8kg weight limit to stay in place so the extra weight is not counted)

The question here is who will the UCI listen to, pro riders or big business? I suspect a compromise will be made with some uncool disk shield (how about adding a chain guard as well ;) ), which will cause more drag and some interesting cross wind handling.

Time will tell if road disks stay on after that, or if we will see some disky bargains in the classifieds.

Over to Lord Business for the next move.

Good point of view, makes sense. I do believe that disks are the future, all tests show improved braking performance, especially is dangerous conditions. Something like a simple little cover would solve this problem, a nice cover will also make the disk more aero? ????

I just have a question, what would this dudes motivation be to lie about it?

I doubt he is lying. I also doubt he was watching his left leg as it impacted the rotor. He assumes it was the rotor that cut him and he is sticking with his story.

It's just been released.

For tuning and set up only....what are they thinking calling that wireless.

wireless setup is NOT wireless on the bike - so basically smoke and mirrors still - but I am sure it is coming soon.

One thing that gets to me.

"I didnt actually fall down. It was only my leg touching the back of his bike."

Now could someone please explain to me. Pictures or illustrations welcome. How on this planet do you get your left leg to touch the left hand side of another bikes rear wheel so close to the wheel axle. And dont fall. Unless he was totally uncleated legs flying all over the show.

And on the OUTSIDE of his left leg, to boot.

Does not make any rational sense in my muddled little brain.
