Would tend to disagree...I ride some of the most powerful and best modulated brakes Shimano make...I test rode the Guides not too long ago and yes...they weer superior.

Would I bother swapping now that I have already got mine...no, but were I needing new ones I'd go with the Guides

Sram makes the best breaks. My XTs just does not break at all.

Breaks. I think someone`s Sram breaks.

actually he is right. Shimano does have the best breaks.

 

cable breaks off in the shifter.

 

pedals breaks when it hits rocks

 

chain breaks unless you join it with a SRAM quiklink..

 

derailleur breaks if you try too shift too many gears too fast...
