Must admit, I lost it at a team that drafted us from the first climb all the way to the first stop. Lost it properly, actually said sorry afterwards [emoji85]

I have a picture of about 9 teams sitting on.

I'm so concerned about our tight phases and overall physicality in the contact situations

Backline play flows from secure ball in front ⚠️

I had fun in a social team our goal was always going to be all 12 across the line together. It really takes an enourmous amount of effort to keep a team cohesive.

We had a couple of people suffering early on (they should have pitched at more training rides). So it meant that a few of us needed to take turns pushing them up hills and sitting for long peroids in the headwinds.

Once you accept that your planned time is never going to happen you start enjoying the team work and being there to help out those who are suffering.

Not cool was seeing a well known team who would not pull over to let an ambulance pass in the NEUTRAL SECTION! You guys are on the hub, you really should relook at your priorities in life.

We had a good ride, all considering.

Goal was all 12 over the line at the same time, and 7 hrs or as close as possible.

Goal 1 was achieved, goal 2 missed by 0:4:31.  :(

The last 30 odd km in 35deg heat was difficult, and the 3 bitches (sorry, I mean Sisters) was a killer, I cramped so badly my cramps had cramps, or so it felt.  :whistling:

Luckily I had some very strong team mates, and they kept me rolling. (thanks guys)

This morning I am walking around with someone else's legs, because mine don't normally feel like this.

I had the chance to chat to Maincheese as we rolled out of Stop one, the youngster looked fit and focused.

Normally the first fights / finger pointing / insinuations have started by this time. What is going on? Is the internet down in the Cape?

Oh it's coming don't you worry....

The last 30 odd SNIP.

Well done

That Milner medal sure is special

Getting 12 souls across is a special achievement

The real spirit and tradition of the DC ????
