pe3nguin Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I said biggest (yip, in pure participation numbers, races, etc).Belgian racing is still the best Come on! They're Italian. They fudge their numbers.
'Dale Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Staying in Columbia and training apparentlyOk coolIt's a strategy that's worked well for him
tombeej Posted June 3, 2016 Author Posted June 3, 2016 I imagine Quintana will rock it in Tour de Suisse... Dayer will be at Dauphine with Movistar, so we'll soon see how Nairo's younger brother shapes up with some more serious competition. He did win Tour de San Luis, but that's way too early in the season for the big names who see it more of a training camp than anything else. Looking at Movistar's line-up, I don't see any clear leader there. They might just be going for stage wins vs the overall this time round.

Robo Posted June 4, 2016 Posted June 4, 2016 Dont get me wrong...I am all for Louis, but his 2016 year went really slow. I just asked the question if you think he could win it?
Mntboy Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Dont get me wrong...I am all for Louis, but his 2016 year went really slow. I just asked the question if you think he could win it?Not sure about winning but he most certainly can turn in a top ten performance on GC. He really is THAT good. Quiet year or not. Thomo Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 I remember another rider having several quiet years but always pitching up in July when it mattered most.

Bonus Posted June 5, 2016 Posted June 5, 2016 Jeez, that is a stupidly strong squad! I think they mean to give Froomey all the support he needs to go for the hat-trick win! Whilst also practicing working together for that other race that starts next month . . .
