The thing I really like about single speeds is the utmost simplicity of the bikes

 

its so basic but so interesting to stare at 

 

Sworks XC MTB : *Stares 5 minutes

 

Cool old Steel SS :* stares for 2 hours , starts coversation makes friends and and and...

Your mom...sen is still one of my favorite builds over the last few years, it just came together so well!! 

 

I am not a huge fan of their frames but yours is perfect..

The Singular is a far better bike. I am actually amazed at just how good the Singular is.

Yes I do, but by 'choice', not by 'accident'. [emoji23]

 

I love my boy to death, but sometimes he makes me so angry that I want to strangle him to death.

 

And that is what riding a single speed is all about, sometimes it will make you hate it and yourself for creating it and sometimes you will feel the complete opposite and not be able to think what life was like before or would be like after it.

 

This of course the case if you build it up yourself,buying someone else's SS bike would be like raising someone else's children....... not quite the same.
