generally under 50 is pro and then it goes up according to age group - but there are some anomalies - might be previous category winners get a very  low number in an age group category

Pro's 1-40

All World Athletes 40 - XXX

then they start counting age groups

How to find your race number:

  • Look for your number based on your Age Group on 31 December 2017.
  • Age Groups are split by gender and per category 18 - 24; 25 - 29; 30 - 34; 35 - 39 and so forth.
  • Numbers are sorted alphabetically by surname in each Age Group.

Why do the numbers not follow sequentially in some cases?

  • Athletes who received All World Athlete (AWA) status for 2017 receive priority racking.  This is organised alphabetically by surname per category status - Gold; Silver; Bronze.

Good luck to all....take a deep breath and relax. Take it one hour at a time...Start gentle finish hard.

FOMO for me for sure. Nothing like the week running up to a Tri.

Beasterly Easterly....choppy seas and cold water for the swim. Cross  and head winds for the bike, but a nice sea breeze for the run to keep cool.
