Aurora Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Hi All, I ordered 2x Tufo tubbies from CRC last week (5 July) and it was shipped with Correos, I didn't think the DHL shipping was worth the extra R300 but i am regretting that now. I cannot track this order any further than it leaving the UK.Surely it should be in SA by now?Just trying to find a way to locate this package. Does anybody have any insights / experience with this?

If you are lucky it will be with you 10-14 days from shipping, otherwise whenever (depends if SAPO are working or striking) If you were able to track it in the UK, then you have an overseas tracking number?? You can try tracking here http://www.17track.net/en, also if you do have a UK tracking number you can try to track it locally using that number at http://www.parceltrack.co.za/ and if it works you should also get the local tracking number. Last option is to phone Joburg International Mail Centre (expect to be on hold) and try to track it through the delivery address.
Baaisikilist Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Strange... I ordered last week, on the 7th, and it was shipped through Parcelforce (fo freeeee), tracking has been available daily, arrived in SA yesterday, and is awaiting customs clearance as we speak.
DJR Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 Pay the extra money for DHL, that's what I do, just for the convenience of having it in my grubby paws anything between 3 to 5 days max and not wondering whether a customs or post office official is going to re-distribute some bike parts his own way.
DJR Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 The last time I ordered and it was shipped through SA Post office, my parcel got stuck in a strike and I only got it 3 months later. Ever since then, I vowed NEVER to ship anything anywhere that involves them again, even if it costs me money.
bertusras Posted July 12, 2016 Posted July 12, 2016 I waited 3 weeks for my grips to get here Yeah, as Bizkit said, 3 weeks is reasonable for a standard shipping timeframe, you're going to have to wait a bit longer I'm afraid. DHL has amazed me. My packaged shipped out yesterday morning, less than 24h later they phoned me to make the customs payment, I'll have my stuff tomorrow as it's already landed and been processed. Shocked, to be honest. Definitely worth the extra money.
