Fake Salomon Shoes

I'm guessing fake. SpeedCross's don't come with laces like that. As far as I know.

What did you pay?

The LT badge looks right until you look closely. It's just a flat print, where on the original shoe it's raised/embossed. The same applies to all the branding/labeling actually.

 

Someone bought them for me as a gift, which apparently was equivalent to about R400. I sold them here for the same price because I didn't want to run in fakes.

Last Saturday I bought some Speedcross 3's on sale at the Cape Union Mart outlet store in Woodmead for R1250 less 33%. Plus I get 20% cash back from Discovery. They are blue inside. Not bad for a casual shoe.

I'd like to know if the fake shoes are as uncomfortable as the real ones? Gave mine to the estate manager along with an old pair of rockports. He still wears the Rockports's.

Thanks for the Review ...good stuff. But as for your recommendation of NOT buying SpeedCross shoes... I disagree. As a Hiker, Trail Runner,  here in Colorado...I tackle all terrain and I need a shoe that handles mud, water, and grips rocks and all the other uneven stuff on the trails where I live in the High Plains Desert of Colorado ...BEST shoe I've ever run in and Only shoe I will buy....I have twisted ankles in a lot more expensive shoes... Salomon is cornering the Market on the Trail Running Shoe for one reason ... it's a great shoe and fits like a glove and takes a beating... I know I wear them and run with them every day.
