Cycling is awesome and it's even been proven scientifically to be so. It gets referred to as the search for 'flow state'. Essentially that's the high we get from having had a fun day on the bike or watching great racing, like La Vuelta, ToB or the UCI World Cup mountain biking!

As for the doping, I never started talking about doping on this thread only replied.

I like to see a good race. I like to see an underdog win, but I also like to see the best of the best do their thing perfectly as well.

Well if besides been a convicted doper , liar, "throw toys out of cot" and arrogant floats your boat then who am I to try persuade others. Only positive I can say about Contador is he looks good on a bike.

Nope, 

 

I never liked Froome till he showed his real character by riding with a broken foot on the hardest stage ever created, now i do!

 

I like Contador for his racing but don't respect him for his cheating, Chain Gate / Doping either way he cheated but is a talented rider nonetheless who makes racing interesting to watch. Way less wheel sucking from him than others when he is weak.

 

My two favorite riders of the last decade was Ryder who was a cheat in his MTB youth days and Andy obviously who was never busted so history will show him as clean , even though he most likely wasn't with the coaching staff he had around him. 

 

In my own opinion, one can like a rider that is a cheat even though you don't condone or agree with cheating. Just like one can really dislike, even to the point of hatred for a rider whether he is clean or not!

 

For me that is Valverde and everything Astana! Hence why in all Fantasy leagues they are never in my team. One can't rap about them and then for the sake of winning choose them. I don't agree with people who do the opposite but each to them selves i guess.
