He made sure to catch the main contenders ... and then managed to drop two of the big ones. Not good signs for Berty and Quinney, really wonder whats up with him. Any ideas? Meinchees just suffered from team failure to ride a good TT that's now got him on the back foot. And ... I've never seen him take on the race and go. So interesting to see if the time loss will make him do something interesting.

His unfortunate shortcoming of one (or two, or three) off days just explodes his overall attempt to put in a strong GC challenge. Pity Port got smashed up in the Olympics. Still wanna see him put a whole 21 day event together with success. Reason he went to BMC after all.
