Pure Savage Posted August 4, 2016 Share Hi guys, If you own and ride a Scalpel, please help me out here. How tall are you and what size do you ride? Many thanks Patch A Scalpel is a mountain bike, you are looking for a super six evo boet, 54cm, 130mm stem. (No spacers of course) To be fair, a Scalpel is the closest thing to a road bike you'll find with fat(tish) tyres... Andrew Mc brought an Si on the Tour deTuli, and man its nice, but at R200k.....I am looking for a clean 2015/2016 model. So you'll probably be served well by going to the bigger size and getting a shorter stem. It is massive.

I currently have an Epic Expert and a Scale RC (both of which will be avaiable soon ) and these are both Large frames, but for some reason they feel a tad big. Well maybe not big, but not "racey". My road bike frames are 54 and 55cm, with the 55cm feeling perfect. But the more you guys talk the more it sounds like a L frame is needed. Pity as there is a great deal on a Medium atm.
