I am currently busy with a claim through King Price, will let you guys know how it goes.

As previously stated, bike was damaged during transit, struck by object that came from the side of the road on the N2 just before Mew Way.

Front fork and front wheel cracked.

I paid R90 a month for my Bianchi valued at R100k and

R133 a month for my Cotic Bfe Valued at R35k

So who else is paying more for their MTB's than their Roadies?

Insurance Company Momentum. Never had an issue claiming!

Both on the same policy? Seems strange that there is a such a difference in price. Most pricing is based on sum insured.

Maybe check your clauses, there could be different cover types here.

Yeah it's the same policy and what is strange is have claimed twice on the Bianchi for crashed. New wheels and new frame. But never on the Cotic. Will read over the clauses.

Seeing that you seem like a reasonable and logical chap, I feel obliged to help you.

The next time you spend R100k on a bicycle, don't buy a Bianchi, that's like paying R2m for a Fiat

I'm with King Price on their R1 insurance. I claimed for a cracked frame a while ago which they replaced at R42k. The process took about 1.5 months, but was handled quite professionally.
