i called when this first came out, general feeling is you wont be able to feel any difference if your shock is worked correctly to begin with.

my bets are you wont notice a difference. and if you do notice a difference it will likely be because the shock actually really needed a good service.

Has not arrived in SA yet.

Got a call from my LBS last week that the kits have arrived, Lefty went of today, should hopefully have it back by the weekend.

We will be rolling the program out though your local Cannondale dealer. Once the parts arrive is RSA will will advise accordingly.

I see from the website the older PBR models can also benefit from this (although not free) do you have price to have the oder forks upgraded ?

Anyone had this done yet? Also, any suggestions on a good Cannondale dealer in JHB?

Lefty service last week.  apparently the upgrade kit is not yet here in SA.

Waiting.

All "dealers" are the same as the lefty gets sent down to Omnico in Capetown.

Got my Lefty back about a month ago complete with 2 spring sticker, can't say I feel any difference, in fact I sometimes think it feels worse.

Has any one else had this done and what was your observation.

Another problem is that after about 10 to 15 hrs of riding I am losing as much as 25mm travel and have to do a manual reset on the Lefty, anyone have any similar problems?

Also like to know what pressures you are running for your weight.

Mine was completely rebuilt just before they sent out the notice. Since it was factory issue it was for 3. Think I will wait a couple of months until next service and send it in for the spring fitting. Technically that would be another free service.

I weigh 74kg and ride it 85 PSI. I think they recommend just over 100 for my weight. Feels much better riding at lower pressure

Ok, I weigh 75 and ride at 90PSI, have gone down to about 80 but Lefty feels best for me at 90.

I wouldn't bank on that free service, the upgrade is free but you pay for the service.

Have you had any problems regarding the migration of the rollers and subsequent loss in travel?

Well now that you mention it..........The fork is a bit more "rigid" after they replaced whatever they did. In the past when I had to reset the needle bearing the fork went completely in when you let the air out. Now it seems there is always something left because when you "slam it down" during reset it seems to be giving resistance so I don't know if the needles actually reset

Does anyone know when the 2 spring upgrade will be available in South Africa ? Seems my lbs is still awaiting shipment.

Been here for a while now if I am not mistaken. Your LBS should send your shock to omnico?
