Trinity MTB frame good?

I visited my LBS yesterday, and the owner mentioned he could, if I traded in my current mtb, build me up a decent bike with decent components, carbon Trinity frame, 1x11 SRAM groupset, etc.

I have never heard of, or seen a Trinity frame, apart from yesterday. I tried googling, but could not find any information.

Have any of you heard of this brand before? Would you recommend it?

I guess this is not a good deal then?

Nothing wrong with a Chinese carbon frame. And if you have the peace of mind of local backup just in case, it's great if the price is right.

Trying not to sound snobish here but I think it would be better to go for a known brand. Giant, Trek, Spez, Merida etc...gives me a little more peace of mind. Regardless of where their frames are made I would just prefer an established brand. Would you prefer to drive a GWM or a Toyota/Ford/Isuzu?

Out of your options only the GWM and Isuzu would be my choices! lol

I think tho if the shop offers support on "their" brand then nothing wrong!

Majority of UK overseas shops offer their own branded bike frames, just look at Planet X, Ribble Cycles, Merlin Cycles etc.

If local bike shops are starting to do the same with backup and support I do not see anything wrong in this.

Maybe you should decide based on the cost of the frame alone. The rest of the bike are all established name brands and available by any competitive bike shop. It may be a good deal or may not. Also, why "must" you trade in ur existing bike for this "deal"

Hahaha no man the Fords are nice! Suppose you right on the support as are Shaper and Sparki 1, again it's just my preference

I don't have to trade it in, but I see no point in having two bikes :-)

Almost 5 years on and my Chinese Carbon frame still going strong, many a falls many a broken wheels frame still going!

As said, the frames are brought and sprayed by a well known hubber(amongst hubbers) local support and backup if the price is right
