Absa Cape Epic 2017

Clearly my pre-Epic predictions were way off.

1. Sauser/Kulhavy

2. Platt/Huber

3. Lakata/Hynek

Still have a shot with Susi and Cool Harvey, but flip Carl Platt and Team Albanator really seem to struggle.

Wonder what is up with Lakata and Hynek?

Karl says he himself doesn't know what's going on with him.

Thinking of this day one debacle.

I actually think it's a good idea for Epic to make the first day a tough as hell.

That way all these corporate fattys who use their influence to get entries end up missing the cut and getting put in their place.

So day 1 is basically your qualifying round ;)

I reckon you should at least have to qualify for the event.

Do we do double shots on Sunday whenever they compare the final stage to the Champs-Elysées?

I just need to know if I should prepare my liver.?

Agreed, I saw some pics at the prologue and thought if that dude can do the Epic, it is seriously cannot be that hard.

It said 'determined to close the gap' ...

winning by 0,2 sec and not attacking is just riding together

Its kinda like our school system.

If the students are not properly prepared just lower the passmark.

To be fair to the Epic, they not making it THAT easy :P They still have to complete the stage, regardless of how short it is :P

Shame hope things change for them.

I think tomorrow the "marathon" guys will probably shine, that if they don't shorten the distance again.
