I lost the feed.. have they crossed to the ladies race..from what I could see it was sounding as if the ladies race was hot

With Jenny there, of course it was hot

How do they figure Scott lost 4 sec on the stage.. Stirnemann finished right next to the 2nd songo rider..time is taken when the 2nd rider crossed the line..or are their time bonuses I didn't know about

0,4sec

In my opinion the main reason for riders not making it is trying to ride too fast for their fitness levels. If your aim is just to finish and not 'dice' that other guy, eat and drink well, manage the cut off times, you should make it. It is crazy how people go out from day 1 at the same pace as their local club or buddy rides at home. You need to have a rule for day 1 to 3 where you dont go over a certain average heart rate and stick to it. But as soon as you throw a 100 guys in a bunch its a race of some kind. I have finished an Epic where I dont think i was ever in the red because i had a partner that didnt really prepare and we had to look after him. i've also had Epics where I was fitter and almost didnt finish because I was trying to race.

How the women went through WP3. Ascendis seem determined to close the gap to Meerendal today

Stupid comment on the live updates. Ascendis 0,5sec in front of Meerendal CBC, thats not closing the gap

And spur are not improving..10min behind at WP3

Probably a very easy mistake to make.. and of course the more you push the less you think of eating and drinking, and it becomes harder to actually swallow anything.(that is what I have found)

When my HR is controlled and where I want it to be I eat and drink all the time.

Meerendal CBC just sitting on Ascendis no pressure with a 9min lead, Spur now really losing all hope of a podium

Brentjens fighting back in masters taking time back from Orbea with BMC sitting in, they could go big tomorrow or Saturday

Stirnemann: "This was a shorter stage, so Nino and I felt like it would suit us better. We want to win a stage every day, but this was one we though that we could take. I thought we had it in the end, but I started sprinting for the finish too early; I didn't know where it was! That's when Susi just came past me."
