I had to submit a medical certificate for the Nove Colli in May. I think it is an European (or UCI) thing. I will be there Saturday afternoon with a notepad. Beers buys medical certificates everywhere else in Africa - why not here....?

For those interested, I mailed race organisers, and here is the answer to my question;

 

We will have bike repair centres at the start as well as finish. Bike repair centres will also be located at the two feeding stations. The neutral assistance will be for immediate mechanical repairs, excluding tyre replacements.

 

So in other words not quite the full TdF experience as advertised.

What's this? A mountain bike race where we all stop and have a little rest?

I reckon the time of year and distance is perhaps a problem.. there are a lot events on this time of year and the costs to get to them all is just too much.
