Got aided a little by the infighting between Van Avermaet and Lutsenko. Still a classy ride from Zbar though and a good win! So nice to see him back on the top step!

Yep, that is cycling at the this level hey. GvA is going to have a similar problem to what Sagan has, everybody will mark your every move. He will have to have allot going for him in terms of infighting and 1 second hesitation between the group to get away. PARIS ROUBAIX last year was astonishing how they hesitated when Sagan attacked, never to be seen again. GvA will need to do the same. I suspect we will see another couple of lesser known riders on the top step at these classics

Agreed.

That Sagan attack was from long range so I think there might've been a few who thought he might run out of steam. Got shown up badly for thinking that way.

Stybar isn't exactly a lesser known rider but hasn't fully lived up to the talent his CX palmares shows he has. Hoping this will be a break out season for him ito wins.

The riders take advantage of GVA attacks..sometimes he makes a move can't shake them and then they attack when he is still recovering after an effort.. GVA also seldom will be the fist guy to try close a gap..(depending on who is in the group with him and who is up the road).

3 x world champ!

Didn't his false teeth rattle loose and fall out on the cobbles a few years ago?!

Yeah, he had major dental work done.

I'll always remember that Paris Roubaix when he was looking solid with Fabulous Fabian and then clipped a spectator.

Former world champ Chantal Blaak steams away shortly after the Muur and just before the Bosberg taking a solo win.

Lots of debate around social media as the women's race had to be neutralised because the men's race was going slower than expected.

I was quite disappointed in the performance of Team Dimension Data's riders yesterday and expected a lot more from especially Michael Valgran (last years winner).

The team also performed under par in the UAE tour where they failed to get any rider in the overall  top 20 and Cav also never really challenged for a win in any of the sprints.

Lets hope for better days soon.
