Hmmm, The Pog to attack on the Pog-gio?

3.7km @3.7% seems easy, but done flat-out, it isn't. But these guys can manage that in their sleep at a billion watts and still recover in a moment. The best capable of doing so will win.

i'm grudgingly putting my money on Ewan. i'm not a fan, but he's climbing better than most of the sprinters at the moment and MSR is a good opportunity for him. he's done well going to Lotto as orico-greenedge-jayco seem a bit wayward to me

Well bowl my over with a feather - the the stat people DO know what they're talking about 🙂

Luckily Mørkøv can sprint AFTER he leads out and pin french boxers up against the barriers. Best lead out man in the world for the last few years! Super aware and constantly scanning and reacting. Amazing rider.

I think UAE really want this one.

Pogi to go on the Poggio?! He is on ominous form and could do a "Nibali" on Saturday.

Oi, I'm going to have to enforce some royalties on that kind of blatant plagiarism...

But it does seem like an obvious prediction...

Question is: all the other teams know it is coming, what can they do about it?

TJV to drive an insane leadout into the bottom of the Poggio for WVA to try and put the Pog out of position? Can WvA follow him and close the inevitable gap at the top during the descent, like he did with Allaphillipe?

We are away for the weekend, in a location with VERY bad reception. But be sure, I'll make a plan to go hunt for cellphone reception at the opportune time. This fight is going to be great.
