Really nice race, We had an excellent marshal on the bike with us in the A bunch, Dankie Nico.

My only RANT is with all the cocks who chucked their gels and *** out when they were done with it, Naai man ouens, keep it in your pockets, HEL!

Was riding in A as well. It seemed like the whole group stuck together all the way to vissershok whereafter the men got separated from the boys.

Having a marshal follow the group all the way does make one feel kind of special though.

I noticed that the Stellies tour was timed at different points but this one was just start and end surely if they timed at the halfway point of the 102km all this would be avoided.

I noticed that. I only did the 64 and there were only 2 timing mats.  I assumed there would be a timing mat somewhere out on the 102 for that very reason. There was a fast looking guy with a Q number in my start group. It looked like he was riding with his kid I wonder if he got a time for the 102.

Seeding has been updated with the 99er results - "Adjusted Winner" guy absolutely murdered the rest of the field. Hopefully next year he is also at the SA's...

What was his finishing time?

Must've made his break just after Klipheuwel over the rollers towards Philly.

I was Q - couldn't have been me though because I don't look fast

Finished 2:27 I think, rode about 13 minutes into the group. I guess we can just be thankful that Muishond's bro was on his mtb and not his roadbike... ^_^

Mamil,

Did your seeding improve, hopefully?

So you can get to those bunches that actually bunch.

Hey Dale,

It did! - I am now in K which really throws down the gauntlet of maybe getting to D or C before PPA renewal time.

Signed up for this weekend's 78k - going to do the tour de PPA too and see if I can survive Vissershok well enough to stay with a fast group!

Highest I ever got was E. :( but I haven't done a road race since the pelvic plunge* of Dec 15 :(

$ group is going to be interesting...most of the 'pro' teams and the usual elite riders will be at SA champs... I reckon they'll end up adjusting the winners time quite a bit (for seeding purposes).

...as predicted...

E!?  Thor - no way you're an E - Pelvic plunge? --- a bad cunnilingus injury? Extreme foreplay's a sport these days? Gives seeding a whole new meaning.
