I know the feeling, Cat-i knocked me down a peg.  Will have to start going home for lunch!

hey... you've given me an idea. Is there a rule against commuting more than once a day?  :whistling:

If I cycle my wife to the train station and then cycle back home. Repeating the ride in the afternoon when she gets back does that count?

The question is, do you work at the train station?

as long as it is utility cycling .... Work, social to go to lunch, etc I recon it is fair game as these are commuter activities.

Honey moon is over. Need to make money now!

Flipping excited that the wife is cycling now. But I miss my Cotic. I should have just paid the cash to bring it over. Oh well, soon as I have a good float again I will head to the UK and pick up a road rat

I think it's fair.

I cycle to the coffee shop about 3 blocks away ................................... but then again they give a hugely discounted, and awesome coffee if you arrive by bicycle :P

Would cycling to the parkrun and back on Saturdays count as a commuter activity??

I think so. For me commuting is every ride that is not training or racing. Going to the bike friendly shops over the weekend, to church on sunday, house sitting and of course going to work all count for commuting.

Then I am doing commuting wrong.  Hunting every sporting cyclist, mail man, school kid, etc down like a wabbit.  :whistling:

Hahahaha, I mean really really formally, proclaimed in my case ("Ons gaan oefen") structured training.

LOL I'm way to slow to hunt everyone down, but if there is the occasional cyclist with earplugs not hearing me approaching dawdling all over the Spruit, or runner running up a hill faster than I cycle, then I also 'hunt' them down ... for any given definition of 'hunt'  :P

Hahaha you started it! I wouldn't have knocked you down a peg if you didn't knock me down a peg first! :P

And while I wasn't looking, Bateleur got his 3000 and a whole lot extra

This week will be slow.  Did ride yesterday witth the mtb in rain.  Took a break today and glad I did as the wind came out of nowhere.  Will try to ride tommorow but will propably be rainy again and then Thursday looking good.  Might then join to others on a commute which propably will be bringing me to tears again.  Friday not looking good as heavy rain predictions and we have a seminar in the afternoon and not sure whether to bike or take the train.
