Nancy Drew Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Yoh! -6 is rather chilly. We're down to around 6 at the moment and I'm starting to feel the extremities and considering bringing out some of the winter gear. I must say, I'm enjoying commuting. Although it helps that I know that cat-i is waiting for me, otherwise I'm not sure I'd be as motivated

The Crazy German Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Was -2 at the end so not too bad but still took the train. Hoping for Monday. With proper kit no issues. Worst it went this year was about -12 on mine did get a bit slow in 10cm of snow on the higher lying parts.

I have less of the problem with the temps itself. The bloody ice is more of an issue. There are big sections of my commute where the ice in the morning on the roads takes you out.
cat-i Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 was absolute perfection in CT this morning! Was perfection in Joburg as well this morning. Getting dark in the mornings and afternoons. But such a beautiful time of the year when the last rains have fallen, so the tracks are still hardpacked but not muddy, but the winter dust hasn't arrived yet.
Bateleur1 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 Well this morning was also perfect. 1 degree but clear skies, sunshine. Rest of the week will be crap but it seems next week is looking good. Maybe I would get 3 commutes done.

Bateleur1 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 For the moment, next week looks like perfect weather the whole week. Wonder if I will survive a 5 day commute? Time will tell.
