Guys without being funny and narky, but let's keep it clean.  I would really like to know why people now feel the need to report a thread instead of seeing the joke behind the thread's tongue in cj=heek remarks.

 

Yes I know it is important that we keep threads clean and above the belt. And yes what I posted was risque, but I did not once try to offend someone or person.  I have an idea i know who reported me I would just like to know what their whole idea behind the report was.

 

If you do not want to do it on a public forum PM me and tell me.  I will not name and shame you, I just want to know what your reason was

There was a post a while back - I didnt reply - about, Have you ever Reported a post? - well,....... I along with Scotty, Linnega, Cruxpearl, Big H and a few others have been here since day 1,............ and I have never yet FELT the need to report a post, and can honestly say I never will.!!

 

I will always be prepared to listen to anothers point, discuss it in a friendly manner, say my piece and move on.No hidden agendas.

 

If I find their opinions / posts offensive to me, I just flip onto another post. They have as much right as me to make a statement.

 

I really dont agree with the "report" button, if you find a post offensive, racial, demeaning, say so in public and make your rational behind the reason known, or dont read it and move on.

 

Lets leave the folk designated to deal with this to do so. Linnega and Crux are quite able to make sane rational decisions, its quite unnecessary to have a panel of unofficial mods with an agenda.

You know Slowbee I started cycling on a Raleigh big and heavy as a farmgate,  had my first fall on my farmgate,  rode my first real race on my farmgate.  And will never bash a Raleigh, it is just a rebranded Deddacai( spelling) frame with Shimano components.

 

What is really getting to me are people who are self righteous and believe they have now been appointed by admin to watch while he is otherwise occupied

Sammajoor what you have to realize is that The Hub for some people is everything their lives revolve around. It is a place for them to get out all their self rightoues goodie 2 shoes viewpoints that otherwise are not tolerated in the workplace or in society in general without someone telling them to F off.

 

There have been some meaningful studies recently on how people actually cannot communicate with each other unless they are typing on a keyboard and certainly here you have a few good examples.

Hubber Status and posting privelages should depend on the number of years / months of membership and not on the amount of postings.

 

Some hubbers (mostly the roofies) could easily qualify as spam generators...
