Was watching the men's earlier with my brother in law, it was 20 questions, what kinda bike is that, why don't they use normal mountain bikes, why can that guy ride that, why's that guy changing bikes... I switched to the tennis.

These are athletes on another level.

Crazy stuff.. the u23 race was incredible..the fight for the medals wow..and that course..man oh man.

Sadly didn't watch the ladies yesterday as DSTV did have live broadcasting..and my wifi was messing around. But I hear that was also something special.

The Elite Ladies had the most exciting final lap I think I have ever seen, although its only been about 6 years since I have been watching Xross

Shame van der Poel is crushed.. I didn't watch as I went for a ride.. but from what I see he had a flat in the last lap?

But I also see Van Aert had issues in the first lap?

Van Aert always works on finding a rhythm early on in his racing

Yeah, the papwiel changed the race for rainbow entirely

Enjoyed it. Still trying to get my head around how you ride your road bike ( with baby knobblies) around a muddy icy terrible camber 90 degree corner and don't bin it every time. Halfway down some of those steep drop down banks must be quite tempting to grab the brakes. Amongst the most skilled riders I've seen
