Looks like you bought a rear mech with the hanger from the frame it was previously fitted to.

Looks like the insert to change between thru axle and QR like you get on Swift MTB frames

It looks like the derailleur mount from a Shimano rear derailleur.

Its not the derailleur hanger, its the part of the derailleur which attaches to the derailleur hanger. 

Direct mount derailleurs do not have this part.

Just been reliably informed it is a Shimano 'B2 link' ... ah well can't see anything I would need it for?
