Seems the hub nannies removed my post..... Once again.

I agree with Crispy here in what he says.

Agree with fabes too, crap service everywhere and people pussy foot around it.

Like political correctness, same thing.

Fabes actually said something totally different if I read it correctly.

We are skinny on the facts but it did seem a little fishy the shop just accepted the damage no questions asked when the damage was brought to light, also this was the 3rd time the bike was there, they would know the bike intimately by that point, it wasn't like it was another random bike that's brought in once every 6 months for a service.

And the damage was quite severe, "not light scratches, the whole length of the fork", something someone who manages a shop should probably spot - "3rd time we've had the bike, let's do it right this time, make sure we don't put the customer through the ringer again..."

Heard a story about a LBS that has Barry Roux on a retainer

Everyone is itching for a good Friday.

This thread is a watered down Wednesday at best.

There's just not enough substance here to come out swinging.

But peace on Bikehub is a Utopian ideal and cannot last forever.

I see a fresh, fuming, Friday morning rant on our horizon.

I see hubbers being judged by their post count and not by the content of their posts.

I see pointless, polarized views and personal attacks that have nothing to do with the topic of discussion. Its coming...
